Documentary film «Moscow. «The Knave of Diamonds»

The Cultural Foundation “EKATERINA” presents a documentary film “Moscow. “The Knave of Diamonds” (in Russian and French) made at the request of the “Ekaterina” Foundation to mark the opening of the exhibition “The Russian “Knave of Diamonds” Painters: between Cézanne and the Avant-garde” held in Monaco from 11 March to 12 April 2004.

The film is devoted to the exhibition “The Russian “Knave of Diamonds” Painters: between Cézanne and the Avant-garde” (Monaco, 11 March – 12 April). It recreates the epoch of the beginning of the twentieth century which atmosphere was crucial for the artistic idea of the “Knaves of Diamonds” movement to crystallize and develop.
